We're not just looking at surface-level perks; we're exploring the DNA and personality behind why certain cultures bring out the best in people.

We've been on a mission, conducting an extensive analysis of workplaces, analysing thousands of companies, from startups to established giants, and gathering insights from over 20,000 employees. Our goal? To identify the growing companies that are setting a new standard for what it means to create a thriving work environment. These are the companies where "people-first" isn't just a slogan; it's a lived experience. These are the places you'd tell your friends and family about. These are the new benchmarks for the future of work.

What Does It Mean to Define Workplace Excellence?

 

What does it take to build a culture where people truly thrive? This award recognises companies demonstrating a measurable, impactful commitment to their employees. Winning signifies a company has achieved a rare balance—where:

  • Employee contributions are valued, and ideas are shared openly.

  • Growth is seamlessly integrated into the employee experience, with clear paths for development.

Methodology Behind Culture 100:

To find the companies that truly put their people first, we went straight to the source: the employees themselves. Through anonymous surveys designed to capture authentic employee sentiment and experiences spanning thousands of companies, we uncovered the real stories behind the culture. We asked:
 

  • "What's one moment that showed you your company truly cares about its people?"

  • "What's the secret to your connection with the company culture?"

  • "If you could design your ideal workplace, what would it look like? How close is your current experience?"

  • "What programmes or initiatives make you feel valued and help you grow?"

To get a clear picture of employee sentiment, we also used the Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS), asking:

  • "On a scale of 0-10, how likely are you to recommend this company as a great place to work?"

  • "On a scale of 0-10, how satisfied are you with the opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company?"

"It's not about having a good culture.

The Story in the Data

To uncover the real story of workplace culture, we looked at the data. We wanted to understand not just what employees were saying but how they were saying it. That's why our survey is a 'sentiment' analysis, where the vast majority of the weight is placed on the open-ended responses, and the percentage of respondents per company is factored into the final analysis. Employee feedback was carefully analysed for key themes, recurring patterns, and the overall feeling. This qualitative data, combined with the hard numbers of eNPS scores, gave us a complete picture of each company's world. This approach, used every year, lets us compare companies and see how they’re changing.
